This growth falls below the prior-year figure and indicates that the weak economic climate has also reached the security services market. For the years 2026 to 2030, service providers look ahead with optimism, expecting annual revenue growth of between 6.7 and 7.6 percent, driven in part by anticipated rising demand in the wake of KRITIS regulation.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">These are initial findings from the new L\u00fcnendonk Survey &#8220;Security Services in Germany,&#8221; which will be published in September 2026. The new L\u00fcnendonk Ranking of leading security service providers in Germany is now available for free download at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.luenendonk.de\/en\/produkt\/luenendonk-ranking-2026-leading-security-service-providers-in-germany\/\">www.luenendonk.de<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" data-block-type=\"core\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>The Ranking in Detail<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">The 25 leading security service providers generated security-relevant revenues of 5,628.1 million euros in financial year 2025, representing approximately 40 percent of the total market volume (excluding cash and valuables logistics). In the security segment, they employ a total of 97,400 staff, accounting for around one third of all employees in the German security industry. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">The German subsidiary of Swedish security group Securitas maintains its top position in the L\u00fcnendonk Ranking with revenue growth of 2.4 percent to a total of 1,239.1 million euros. As the only company to generate revenues of more than one billion euros, Securitas accounts for just under nine percent of the German security services market, with a considerable lead over the field. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">Second place goes to the K\u00f6tter Unternehmensgruppe, headquartered in Essen. In the security services segment, K\u00f6tter achieved revenue growth of 8.6 percent to 659.0 million euros. In addition, the company also provides facility services and generates total revenues of 770.0 million euros in Germany.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">The Kieler Wach- und Sicherheitsgesellschaft, including Sicherheit Nord, holds third place with an estimated revenue of 558.0 million euros (+7.5%). Fourth place goes to the Nieders\u00e4chsische Wach- und Schliessgesellschaft, together with its affiliated VSU, with revenues of 410.0 million euros (+2.5%). <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">Wisag surpasses the 300 million euro mark for the first time in its security division, with revenue growth of 6.0 percent to 310.4 million euros. The Frankfurt-based company is the largest employer in facility services in Germany. Pond, the security service provider from Erlensee ranked sixth, is also on the verge of crossing the 300 million euro threshold with revenues of 292.2 million euros (+1.1%).  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">D\u00fcsseldorf-based multi-service provider Kl\u00fch grew by 7.1 percent in financial year 2025 to 221.8 million euros in the security services segment, placing it in seventh position. Directly behind is Piepenbrock with security services revenues of 212.6 million euros (+6.2%). The total revenues of the Osnabr\u00fcck-based company exceeded one billion euros for the first time in 2025.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">W.I.S. from Cologne is the only company in the top 10 to record a slight revenue decline of 2.1 percent to 153.1 million euros. Apleona enters the circle of the top ten security service providers with revenue growth of 20.6 percent to 145.9 million euros. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" data-block-type=\"core\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>In the Mid-Field, Nuances Make the Difference<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">ICTS Germany also records a slight revenue decline of 1.9 percent to 136.5 million euros, retaining eleventh place. St\u00f6lting follows in 12th position with revenues of 135.0 million euros (+8.6%). Dussmann from Berlin also loses one place in the ranking following a revenue decline of 1.6 percent in security services to 124.0 million euros. The N\u00fcrnberger Wach- und Schlie\u00dfgesellschaft remains in 14th place with stable revenues of 118.6 million euros (+0.2%). Behind it, Siba follows in 15th position with an estimated revenue of 117.0 million euros (+1.7%).   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">Revenue gaps in the field from position 16 onwards are narrow. ESD improves by one position with revenues of 87.5 million euros (+2.9%). Half a million euros behind, All Service follows, advancing from 21st to 17th place with revenue growth of 13.0 percent to 87.0 million euros. Bewachungsinstitut Eufinger also moves up one position with revenues of 86.8 million euros (+6.5%). The big. bechtold-Gruppe from Karlsruhe, on the other hand, loses three places due to a revenue decline of 4.1 percent to 84.6 million euros.     <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">The Power-Gruppe also moves back two places following a revenue decline of 0.7 percent to 82.5 million euros. City Schutz from Sch\u00f6nburg advances from 20th to 21st place with an estimated revenue of 80.0 million euros (+2.3%). Secura protect achieves the strongest revenue growth within the top 25 with an increase of 24.2 percent to 78.4 million euros, thereby improving by two positions. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">WeWatch follows in 23rd place with revenues of 73.0 million euros (+7.4%). ISS follows in 24th position with revenues of 69.4 million euros (+2.4%). Ardor loses three places due to a revenue decline of 6.5 percent and rounds out the top 25 with revenues of 65.7 million euros.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" data-block-type=\"core\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>The Industry Remains Optimistic<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">The weak economic climate in Germany is also having an impact on the security services market. Six of the 25 leading service providers recorded a revenue decline in 2025. However, service providers remain optimistic about the future and expect average annual growth of between 6.7 and 7.6 percent through to 2030. Rising regulatory requirements for the security and resilience of critical infrastructures are also contributing to this outlook.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">&#8220;In the wake of the KRITIS umbrella legislation, not only are the requirements for the security and resilience of critical infrastructures increasing, but the range of companies required to develop a resilience strategy has also expanded significantly,&#8221; comments Stefan Schubert, Consultant at L\u00fcnendonk &amp; Hossenfelder. &#8220;Technology-supported integrated security strategies are becoming an important building block of the resilience strategy for critical infrastructures.
