The ten leading industrial services companies in Germany increased by 9.5 percent on the previous year. The market leaders generated even stronger growth than the 20 companies on the Lünendonk list, which grew by an average of 6.6 percent on the previous year. This development is the result, among other things, of catch-up effects following the pandemic-related crisis year of 2020, which affected industrial services particularly severely. Inclusion criteria for this list and innovations::
At least 50 per cent of domestic sales generated from industrial services (maintenance services as per DIN 31051, plant and machine cleaning, scaffolding, pipeline construction, etc. in both the process and manufacturing industries, excluding plant engineering, software sales and energy management/energy supply services). No OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) or industrial parks, no power plant services. At least 66 per cent of sales come from external work.
